QUICKBOOKS VS SAGE
WRITTEN BY PAUL JANE
Hey there this is Paul Jane and I just wanted to share with you what I thought some of the differences were between QuickBooks and sage the number one difference is that QuickBooks is really for bookkeeping accounting for small businesses.
age has multi-faceted operations but really I think they're targeting the bigger companies
and enterprise level now they'll do some things on the lower end for small
business owners but that's not really their focus their focus is larger
businesses multiple entities within a corporation kind of on an enterprise level and so even at those price points they want to give you a quote unless you're doing something or only small
with them now CH would be good if you wanted to get into that level of business where you have multiple corporations within one entity or you're doing a lot of job project oriented things and you have a lot of moving pieces and you want to take job costs sage might be of some interest see if
you do that
I think in terms of pure bookkeeping and easy access to information and a lot of help that you
get is from Quickbooks.
your bank online banking we have exports you can export bank statements they're all in quick files oriented documents whereas it's not necessarily what SAGE could extract
information to but there's just a lot a lot of entities outside that use QuickBooks so those are my thoughts if you are doing job cost and some of the more
advanced things you maybe you think enterprise level but there are some options there that you might want to consider but if you want to start somewhere like that and grow into
something with SAGE that's great.
